Coming from out of town?
Hotel Recommendations for out of town attendees:
If you’re traveling from out of town for our training, there are several great hotel options in the Tampa area to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our training location is just east of Ybor City, and you’ll need to drive or take an Uber to the venue.
Below are some nearby areas and hotels we recommend, each with its own unique atmosphere.
Ybor City – Historic & Lively
Approx. 10–15 minutes from training location
Ybor City is one of Tampa’s most culturally rich and historic districts. It’s known for its vibrant nightlife, unique shops, and wide variety of restaurants and coffee spots—all within walking distance of these hotels.
Please note that 7th Avenue is Ybor’s main nightlife hub, with bars and clubs open until 3 AM, so consider that if you’re seeking quieter evenings. Ybor also hosts a weekly Saturday morning market and is home to The Columbia Restaurant, one of Tampa’s most beloved and oldest dining landmarks.
Recommended Hotels:
Hotel Haya – Boutique, stylish, and full of Ybor character.
Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa Ybor City/Downtown – Reliable comfort and walkable to the main attractions.
Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District – A convenient and safe choice close to Ybor’s core.
Downtown Tampa – Central & Walkable
Approx. 10 minutes from training location
Downtown Tampa offers a broad range of hotels—from budget-friendly to high-end options—all in safe and easily walkable areas. You’ll find excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment nearby, plus the scenic Tampa Riverwalk, which stretches along the waterfront.
In December, you can also enjoy the festive Christmas Market at Curtis Hixon Park.
Recommended Hotels:
Hotel Flor – A charming historic hotel (expect some creaky floors and old-fashioned quirks).
Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center – Spacious suites and a great location near the Riverwalk.
Aloft Downtown Tampa – Trendy and modern with great views.
Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse – Upscale hotel in a beautifully restored historic building.
The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk – A more budget-conscious option that’s still safe and centrally located.
There are many additional hotels downtown, so if you have loyalty points or find a better rate with your preferred brand, the area as a whole is a great choice.
Airport & Westshore District – Convenient & Practical
Approx. 20 minutes from training location
For those looking for quieter, business-oriented stays, the Tampa International Airport and Westshore Blvd areas offer several mid-range hotels. These locations are not as walkable to dining or entertainment, but they tend to have slightly lower rates and are convenient for travelers flying in or out of Tampa.
