Cruise for CEUs
7-night Western Caribbean Adventure aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas, departing from Tampa and visiting Costa Maya, Roatan, and Cozumel
14 CEUS - June 19-26, 2027
Continuing education - but make it vacation.
Join The Creative Wellness Collective in partnership with Float On Counseling for an experiential learning experience at sea - where meaningful professional development, connection with other therapists, and adventure come together.
Cruise for CEUs combines 14 hours of experiential continuing education with the opportunity to step away from your office to unplug, connect with a community of fellow mental health professionals, and enjoy everything a cruise has to offer.
CEUs. Community. Connection. Experience.
And an adventure at sea!
More Than CEUs. More Than a Cruise.
Cruise for CEUs was created to offer therapists a different kind of continuing education experience—one that makes room for learning, connection, reflection, play, and adventure.
We believe some of the best learning happens when we have space to step outside of our normal routines.
During our time together, you'll participate in experiential CEU training led by experienced psychodrama trainers while also having plenty of time to enjoy your vacation.
And when training ends, the experience doesn't.
Optional meetups, group activities, shared meals, excursions, and informal networking opportunities give you the chance to build genuine relationships with other therapists from beyond your usual professional circles.
LEARN
Earn 14 CEUs through engaging, experiential psychodrama training designed for mental health professionals to get their own self-care while learning new skills to bring back to the office.
CONNECT
Meet therapists and professionals from different communities and practice settings through intentional networking and plenty of informal time together.
EXPLORE
Enjoy the ship, ports, excursions, meals, entertainment, and downtime that make this feel just as much like a vacation as professional development.
This Year's Training
Hidden Currents: Understanding the Stories Beneath the Surface with Psychodrama
14 Continuing Education Hours
Every client arrives with a story they can tell…and another story that lives beneath the surface.
Anxiety, perfectionism, relationship struggles, people pleasing, emotional reactivity, and patterns that seem impossible to change are often driven by experiences, roles, beliefs, and protective adaptations that remain outside of conscious awareness. While traditional talk therapy can help clients understand these patterns intellectually, psychodrama offers something different: the opportunity to experience them, externalize them, and transform them through action.
This isn't a sit-and-listen-for-14-hours kind of training.
In this immersive experiential training, you'll learn how psychodrama can help clients uncover the hidden currents influencing their lives. Through carefully structured experiential exercises, you'll experience psychodramatic interventions firsthand before learning how to thoughtfully adapt them for your own clinical work..
No previous psychodrama experience is necessary.
The Cruise Experience
Your CEU hours are intentionally scheduled to leave room for you to actually enjoy being on a cruise.
Outside of training, your time is yours.
Sleep in. Explore a port. Sit by the pool. Book an excursion. Read somewhere quiet. Go dancing. Eat something ridiculous. Spend time with your travel companion, or join us!
We'll also offer opportunities for our Cruise for CEUs community to connect outside of the training room through optional group meetups, activities, meals, excursions, and networking experiences.
Participate in as much or as little as you'd like.
This is your professional development and your vacation.
Bringing Someone With You?
Spouses, partners, friends, and family members are welcome to travel with you—they do not need to participate in the CEU training. However, we welcome non-therapists to join in on the psychodrama fun if they’d like to participate in the workshop!
Your travel companion can enjoy the ship and ports while you're in training, and there may be opportunities for companions to join selected Cruise for CEUs social activities outside of CEU programming.
It's a great way to combine professional development with a vacation you can share with someone you love.

Meet Your Cruise Experience Partner
Joel Schmidt | Cruise Planners | Float On Counseling
Planning a cruise can come with a lot of questions—which cabin should I choose? What's included? Can I bring someone? What about excursions?
You don't have to figure it out alone.
We've partnered with Joel Schmidt of Float On Counseling and Cruise Planners, who has reserved a block of cabins specifically for our Cruise for CEUs group and will personally assist attendees with the cruise-booking side of the experience.
Joel is also part of the Cruise for CEUs team and helps us create some of the connection and group experiences that happen outside of the training room.
